Radically Reimagined Relationships

For the past year-and-a-half, the Astra Center for Innovative Education and Center for Inspired Teaching have been collaborating on a project to figure out what makes engagement-based education possible. It’s been informative, inspirational, and exciting to see the beautiful work that schools are doing to create learning experiences that foster empathy, critical thinking, and community.

As the report title suggests, in the most engaging schools we visited we found a core commitment to radically reimagined relationships. In the report, we explain what we mean by "radically reimagined" and how this core commitment is reflected in everything that happens in the life of the school, for students, staff, families and community members alike.
